Today's pocket cameras are packed with features designed to produce high quality images in a variety of situations, but if left on full automatic mode as many users do, can be inconsistent.

Learn how to set your camera to make better images in most situations by taking some control and guiding the automatic features your camera offers. You'll also gain understanding into adjusting exposure and white balance, settings and techniques to avoid blurry pictures, strategies to strengthen your eye for composition, and ways to safeguard your digital images once they are downloaded to your computer.

Participants should have a compact digital camera and access to a computer.
